~ January 2008, one week before my first child was born, my sister and I took a little road trip to the beach. We went to Anglesea, had a look at Bells Beach and gazed at rock pools.
Its funny to think that 6 years later, my sister has been living in berlin for years, and I have moved so very close to where we were.. Life is funny like that, especially in retrospective.

~ congregating in the garden after days of 40 degrees. Children sleeping late, a new rhythm in order to adapt to the heat...
~ new corners, cleaning out, trying to be a little more minimalistic. Shedding the unnecessary.

Friday Flashback

I often find myself looking at old photos, reflecting on the time of our lives they captured. So why not make it a (hopefully) regular feature here at Mama-T?

These ones are of winter 2010, when my best friend came to visit us from Germany. It was her first time in Australia, and we had a lot of showing around to do! These particular photos are of sugarloaf reservoir, on the way to St. Andrews market, an awesome little hippie market in the bush, north- east of Melbourne.
There are many memories (and photos) i have of sugarloaf, including ones where i was pregnant with my first baby, in what seems like such a long time ago, maybe more material for friday flashback? ah, the endless possibilities!
