The tide was out by the time we were down at the beach yesterday.
We have had a solid three days of mid-thirties temperatures, so this is always the best place to be. Especially on low tide, where you can actually get into the water and swim. Its too rough here during high tide, unless you are on a surfboard, you can't go past your hips, or you get sucked out into the great expanse of water (and then thrown back onto land by the crashing waves). I feel very grateful to live in a place so many people spend so much time and energy trekking to, to enjoy for a few short days a year.
