Walked to the beach at the end of our street with a friend, thinking about how dry everything is: the trees, the grass, the shrubs, not to mention the vegetable garden or flowers.. when we got to the real coastal shrubs, the tea tree, its as if the rainfall (or lack thereof) is irrelevant, its quite un unchanging landscape. I've really come to love it. Now they represent Home, these tea tree bushes.
